What is CVV?
CVV stands for Card Verification Value. This is a security feature implemented to assist with preventing fraud. It helps validate that you have physical possession of your credit card.
Where can I find the CVV?
Visa or Master Card
Look on the back of your credit card in the signature box. The CVV is the 3-digit code printed on the right-hand side, after the last four digits of your credit card number.
American Express
The CVV is the 4-digit number printed on the front of your credit card, directly above the credit card number.
Please note that there are some low security debit cards (which are not meant to be used for online purchases) that do not have a CVV number. It is usually recommended that you request a card with a CVV from your bank if that is the case.
